Getting Ready For Your Tattoo At Piajas Ink

Eat, Rest and Stay Hydrated
Please ensure you are well rested and have eaten before coming in. Please also ensure you are well hydrated.
Managing your energy levels is crucial as this helps with pain management and the healing process.
Please refrain from consuming drugs & alcohol at least 24 hours before the appointment.
Dress Accordingly
Please wear clothing that allows easy access to that area of skin to be tattooed.
Avoid wearing clothing that you do not want to get stained.
Things to Bring
Please bring your ID with you.
If your session is more than a few hours, please feel free to bring food, snacks and a water bottle with you.
Feel free to also bring your own entertainment such as an iPad, earphones or a book.
We also recommend bringing your own phone charger.
Payments
We accept Credit Card payments, Zelle, Cash AP and cash.
Your Skin
We cannot tattoo over sunburn, so be mindful of your sun exposure prior to your tattoo appointment, especially in the summer months.
Keep your skin moisturized and please avoid fake tan. If you suffer from any skin conditions, and are experiencing a ‘flare up’ around the time of your appointment, please let us know as soon as possible. We may need to consider rescheduling your appointment.
You do not need to shave the area to be tattooed prior to coming in, as we will do this for you.
Numbing Cream
We do not recommend the use of numbing cream for a number of reasons, which include maintaining your health and safety.
However, if you must use numbing cream, please make sure you discuss this with your artist before the day of the appointment. If you apply numbing cream and fail to speak to your artist as requested, your appointment may be rescheduled and your deposit will be forfeited. Numbing cream must be applied prior to coming into the studio for your appointment. The artist’s hourly rate will begin to apply when you arrive, if numbing cream is applied at the studio during your appointment.
Your Design
Designs will not be provided to you before the day of the appointment. Enough time is allocated so that you and the artist can sit and review the design together. Communication is better this way, and the artist will be more than happy to make minor changes, if any.
A stencil will not be prepared until you are 100% happy with the design.
Bringing someone
Our highest priority is in the safety of our clients and artists and providing you with the best tattoo possible. For this reason, we do not allow plus ones in the studio. Any plus ones will be asked to wait at the lounge area.
Group Bookings
We often have multiple group bookings on any given day, and sometimes, at the same time.
We will kindly request that any client not currently being tattooed wait outside the studio to avoid over-crowding.
Where possible, we will request that each member of the group stagger their arrival.
